Is this guy for real? He is almost a parody of his stance on evolution.

1. He's for real. He's placing his bets for 2012, or if McCain falters, OR for the VP slot.
Don't underestimate the power of

Likeability!!!

After all, who did everyone want to have a BEER with the last two outings? A fucking cokeworn ALKY who was "On The Wagon" by the Grace of JEEEEBUS!

17. Let's not forget, McCain is not a young man
If elected, he would be 70 -- the oldest of any President in history -- INCLUDING Reagan. He had melanoma in 2000. He could live another 20 years, but he might not make it to November. He doesn't look or sound all that good to me.

It does make one wonder what the GOP would do if it turned out he wasn't fit for the general election campaign.

20. His Pappy and Grandpappy were boozers and smokers. He's cleaned up his act in that regard.
They didn't last long, but they didn't take care of themselves, either.

If he has his Momma's genes, he could go on forever! Momma--and her TWIN SISTER--are hale and hearty at ninety five. No aches or pains.

Huckie may be looking for something--it could be VP (he'd help with the south and the fundies, for sure) or it could just be a cabinet post. We'll see how it shakes out!

2. I've lost my ability to watch this frigging simpleton.
It's the "Fair / National Sales Tax" agenda that concerns me. The rest of his baggage is small compared to that. He's a dangerous guy and there are still plenty of voters who are too stupid to realize it.

5. He is obviously not good with Math or Science
He reminds me of the guy that sat in the back of the room
at school that flunked the class.

3. I thought he was hilarious!
That's why he has always scared me. He's got wacko positions, but I like this guy. He's the only puke that doesn't have me running screaming from the room.

4. Owned? That was brilliant on his part
For starters, he gets prime exposure on Saturday Night Live. He plays up his likability factor to the max. He might be a joke, but people tend to like people who are willing to make fun of themselves. Huckabee knows damned well that he's overstayed his welcome in the Rethug race. I think #1 is right, he's building himself up for either 2012 or a VP slot.

7. Say what you will, he is a good sport.
His exposure on the night shows has been both entertaining and, well, exposing. Peace, Kim

8. I think you're a bit confused
This is a skit. The whole thing was a joke. Huckabee is well aware of the irony.

I thought that was hilarious. A brilliant move on his part. That guy is going to be the GOP nominee in 2012.

12. Huckabee excels at being likeable.
When I see him in this setting, I can't help but like him. I have to consciously remind myself that he's also the guy that wants to put more god in the constitution.

14. Sometimes it's better to remain silent and thought a fool, than open ones mouth and be CONFIRMED

15. He even makes fun of himself as being the "miracle kinda guy"...
...plays the skit well, like his reaction to the revelation that there are no superdelegates for r's. But what I don't get is, how can he go home after skits like that and not reflect on his wacko beliefs?

Oh and yes, he got owned, TOTALLY
