Turkey refuses to say when troops will leave Iraq

The Turkish government has said its troops will stay in Iraq until every base belonging to the PKK has been destroyed.

The Turkish prime minister's chief foreign advisor, Ahmet Davutoglu, has made the Iraqi government aware of Turkey's policy after a meeting in Baghdad.

Mr Davutoglu said Turkey would not be bound to a timetable for the recall of its troops from northern Iraq.

In the past few days, Iraq and the United States have repeatedly called on Turkey to conclude any action against the Kurdish separatists as quickly as possible.

Turkey has now seen that Bush & Company may be kicked out and US troops will leave

6. I knew somebody wanted the oil fields

I just thought it was the US. I figured WE were trying to cheat the Kurds out of their fair share of the oil wealth. Turkey has so much on us (all the stuff Sybil Edmonds is unable to tell) that they have us over a barrel (no pun intended). Either that or we are giving the oil fields to them as a pay off for their cooperation in the drug smuggling and nuclear arms deals.

Iraq was weak and why not take the oil fields using the same US strategy

and here we are all worried about Iran being the aggresor when its really Turkey
