1. What a snot nosed jerk that reporter was.
I don't care what her income tax forms say. I care about how we are going to get out the mess bush put us in. He was a complete bully. He should not have asked Ann Lewis because she is as sharp as her brother Barney Frank. Why would her tax returns have anything to do with her running for president. She has filed all the reports needed for the Senate position she has now. I have not filed my income tax yet. Her income is on file and that stupid reporter should have known that. He is just a bully obama person. Ohio they can't even vote properly.

2. Think about it....
Once she does disclose her tax returns, you know ever neocon, right wing, repug, Hillary-hater is going to be questioning everything from her income, to her deductions, to her personal assets, to etc, etc, etc.

I don't think I want the whole world questioning every donation, deduction, scrap of income/expense that I have.

I think this whole subject is bullshit. Bullshit for Hillary, bullshit for Obama, bullshit for mccain, and bullshit for anybody else running for public office. I just don't see the purpose. If they have questions, let them ask them. But to have the whole world going over my or her returns with a fine tooth comb is shear nonsense.

5. I believe in transparent government.
And that any idiot should be able to ask questions. Rediculous questions should be met with ridicule. If everything is on the up and up, it wont matter. On the other hand, if somethings fishy, I want to know about it. Our country is in the terrible condition its in today because of back room meetings and secret business dealings. The best and sometimes the only way to figure out who is involved and how to unravel networks like that is to follow the money. Its what the DEA has been doing forever with drug cartels.

"But to have the whole world going over my or her returns with a fine tooth comb is shear nonsense."

When you are running for the highest, most powerful public office in the world, there is a reasonable expectation that lots of people are going to go over most of your life with a fine tooth comb.

Now im not saying any of this to attack Hillary, or to insinuate that shes involved in shady back room meetings. However, it is a reasonable question to ask, and doesnt deserve a cop-out answer : Why havent you released your tax returns?

3. i'm pro-Obama...
planning to vote for "whichever dem wins the primary" because i know the value of getting dem control of the white house. i do NOT hate or dislike clinton. my choice had been edwards... but we learn to adjust.

tax forms... i would like ALL candidates to expose their financials from day one. ALL...

it is MOST important that the leader LEAD... no disagreement there... it is also important that the single individual person, voted for and charged with guiding the GIANT country we live in be one-and-a-half steps cleaner than billy-bob the guy that changes my oil.

i DO want to know, at a time early enough to change my choice, who what where and when of their lives. i DO NOT want to find out in OCTOBER, as we are already committed and debated to death, that our lead dog is not going to win because of "secrets" that seem to arise before each election.

to me, it is like GUN CONTROL. i believe in a person's right to own the gun--- but i believe that gun registration and background checks are reasonable ways of validating.

good luck to HC, she is not my first choice, but i hope her supporters understand that most of us believe that she is a good person, a strong politician, an extraordinary woman.

4. Of course the elephants in her joint return are the identities of Bill's "employers"
,i.e, the sources and amount of his income. Everyone knows and feels free to comment on Mrs. Obama's salaried job and speculate that her field of work might influence her husband's actions.
Most people have a similar interest in Bill's income.
