Delegate count to win
What is this stuff about neither one being able to win the delegate count and the super-delegates doing the deciding? Are those numbers accurate or just spin from Hillary's campaign?

If it comes down to the super-delegates, should we be organizing some kind of effort to influence our own officials?

1. Probably true
I suspect it will come down to the Super Delegates. However this does not mean that the upcoming primaries are not crucial. If Obama does well as expected in the next set of primaries as expected, I'm hoping that he can pull some upsets in Texas, Penn, and Ohio. That might still not give him enough to win, but if they go into the convention with Obama having a huge lead (as opposed to the current tie) it will be very hard for the super delegates to deny him the nomination.

3. On Ohio
I think the Chatwal and Gupta stories could be key. If they were told without the Punjab snark, people would see that there is no way the Clintons are going to do anything about outsourcing jobs.

2. A little spin a little truth I think
I am hoping that John Edwards will pledge his delegates for Obama and put him over the top come the convention.

4. I don't think Edwards can deliver
I believe that the Edwards delegates are essentially uncommitted delegates and can vote for who they choose. An endorsement from Edwards might have an impact but there is no guarantee they will go along. Unless Obama does better than expected in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, Edwards' delegates won't be enough to put him over the top. They could still help as I doubt the super delegates would give the nomination to Clinton if Obama goes into the convention with a meaningful lead over her.
