Obama buttons?

Today was our very, very first organizing meeting in Bloomington Indiana and I'd like to see us be able to give, at least, our precinct captains and block captains an Obama '08 button that they can wear when they go knock on doors in their neighborhoods.

The Obama Store is 4-6 weeks behind in filling orders.

Does anyone here - from a state that has already had their primary/caucus - have a good number of extra buttons you'd be willing to send to Indiana? I don't think it would be worthwhile to send just one or two, but if you have some left-overs from your work -- please post here or PM me.

I'll be happy to send you $$ for postage and help defray the cost of whatever you paid for the buttons.

After I posted about wanting Obama buttons it occurred to me that we can make our own!

Another thread here at DU took me to the appropriate graphics:

And then did some Googling and found the Buy Button Parts store:

If I buy a button maker and button parts -- I can make the first 500 buttons at about 50-cents a piece and after that they just get less expensive.

I though about Obamacycle, but right now with the Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania primaries looming, I don't want to request materials through Obamacycle that those states need. The Indiana primary isn't until May and after Ohio's primary has passed we'll be able to get a lot of material from them.

In the meantime I want our brand new -- and not very organized at the moment -- little team to have buttons to give to people who are going door-to-door.
