1. Chris Dodd
I know a lot of people want him to take nancy's place and I think he would be good as head of congress but he would be a great VP also. It would balance out the experience thing and Chris is great on the environment.

2. How can he be the head of Congress???
He's a six year Senator. It's not plausable. I do think he would be a great VP though!!

3. or Senate majority leader.
By the way, he's been Senator for way more than 6 years. I think this is his 4th term. . at the very least he's been senator for a long long time.

6. Being a resident of Ct.,
I am well aware of how long Chris has been in office. My Dad was in politics with his Dad Tom Dodd, many, many years ago. I didn't say he's been in the Senate only 6 yrs. I believe I was referring to the length of a Senate term. How could he run for congress before he'd completed his term, and for God sake why would he want to??

4. Whoever he chooses.
One of the reasons I support Obama so strongly is that I trust his insight and judgement.

He'll examine all the potential choices thoroughly, and choose the best qualified person who shares his vision to be his veep. That's good enough for me.

9. it can't be someone from Washington, IMO
Remember in Obama's stump speech how he talks about people in Washington being part of the problem? He'd have a lot of 'splainin' to do.

That said, I'd sure like to see some of those people on the ticket. But he'll have to decide.

10. I'm still a Clarkie, so I have to go with Wes.
I don't really see it happening since he's hitched himself to Hillary's star, but I still don't think Obama could pick somebody better.
