Some good news: Rasmussen poll has it all tied up in Michigan.
I don't know if Obama can carry Florida, but I have no doubt he'll carry Michigan, especially if it's a caucus.

2. Well the poll, firstly.
The fact he's tied even though Clinton had her name on the last ballot is huge.

Secondly, I believe it's a caucus. And let's be honest, Obama cleans up in caucuses.

5. However, it's all about ground game.
And that's where Obama dominates.

7. If you look at the SUSA maps
you'll notice that Obama carries Michigan against McCain while Clinton does not. While these numbers might be old, and they're not apples to apples comparisons, a similar poll of Wisconsin just before the Wisconsin primary showed Obama beat McCain there by 10 points and Clinton lost to McCain by 7 points, and, of course, Obama ended up winning the primary by 17 points. Similar analysis shows him up by only one point in Michigan (when I started this sentence I thought it was more!). So it'd be close, but a Caucus v. a Primary should favor him, though it'll depend on when the contest is held, I expect.

Sorry, rambling...

David

8. Who gets to participate in the caucus?
Did you have to vote Democratic in the primary in order to participate in the caucus?

11. Annoying this hasn't been publicized in the media.
Nowhere credible has it been proven his adviser bespoke, only the Canadian gov't interfered then apologized. After the harm was done. That Hillary was the wink-wink, don't pay attention to my words was revealed only by Olbermann, I think.

Hillary shill Lanny Davis spoke of trouncing him in Ohio and Nafta memo, without any shred of reality, and pundits on MSNBC and CNN keep repeating he did it.

If there is another debate, I hope he mentions it.

12. I'm from MI
and there's a lot of ticked off Dems here. That "primary" in January was bogus and, although I usually don't support conspiracy theories, I do find it odd that Clinton's name was the only one on the ballot and Gov. Granholm is a big Hillary supporter. My husband and I did not vote in January because we didn't have a fair choice (either Hillary or Undecided) and were told that, hey, it won't count anyway! Now that Clinton is behind, she's all outraged that MI votes won't count. What a load. I'd support a do-over or a split based on delegates, or even just not being seated in Denver because our state f***ed up. I wasn't a huge Obama supporter (I was a Gore holdout!), but seeing how Hillary is conducting her campaign, I'll be damed if I'll vote for her. I'm a 52 year old Ojibwa/Irish/French female. It would be great to have a woman president, but just having a uterus doesn't mean that anything will change. The way that Nancy Pelosi has betrayed us proves to me that you don't have to have a dick to be a dick.

Obama has convinced me!

Diane

13. I'd be delighted if Obama chose a female running mate
There is absolutely no reason why HRC is the only woman who could be in the executive branch. And a lot of reasons why she shouldn't. I'm the same age as you (well a few years older) and I think we'll see a woman get there in our lifetimes.
