I am a known Clinton supporter here, but I wanted to take a chance and say hi, and that I respect your candidate.
I too think there is overkill on the "Wright Thing," and I wish we could hear both candidates talk more on the issues.

I'm also one who hates the negativity and try not to write negative personal things. Why these people can get away with personal attacks on DU is beyond me, because it breaks the rules. I have alerted on lots of people citing that they are breaking those rules, but I'd have to do it all day if I were going to really get it done! As Obama says, the things we have in common are more than the things that separate us.

I'm looking forward to his speech today. More talk on the issues is very good. There is also plenty of material on Obama's website and on YouTube.

6. I want to be positive too

I have 4 sons who are at the age where they could be drafted and I feel that is a huge reason to want to keep John McCain out of the Presidency. I appreciate anyone who is willing to at least try to be open minded about anything. Also, I just got through listening to Barack give his speech today-it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard and it brought tears to my eyes more than once. I hope you listen to it today and at least give him a chance. You don't have to hate Hillary or anybody else to love and support Barack Obama.
