Is everyone else putting 3 new users a day on ignore? I know I have been.
My goal is to make DU as pro-Obama as possible. I find the Hillary supporters (with a few notable exceptions) to be total hacks with useless commentary. They just are divorced from reality. So I have put tons and tons on Ignore (including, sadly, a few friends who no longer are making sense to me). What blows my mind is that every damned day, another illogical post by a user with less than 200 posts always pops up. And I dutifully process them through Ignore, only to find another one popping up the next day.

Anyone else finding this to be so?

1. there were so many that I gave up.
Threads became incoherent due to so many missing posts. So now I just use the "hide thread" thingy and don't run into the worst threads more than once.

After today I'm getting the feeling that the end of the primary contest is near. ;)

2. My ignore list continues to grows daily, but I also use the hide thread
feature if the person is normally reasonable despite starting a useless/flamebait thread.

The new disruptors are so obvious. I remember one from yesterday...I read a couple of comments and was about to add him/her to my ignore list when I realized he was already dead to DU. :D I've also noticed trollish behavior from people with low post counts, but have been members for years. Seems like they crawl out from under their bridges at convenient times just to stir up trouble.

I only put the most obnoxious, rabid, or delusional Clinton supporters on ignore. I get a kick out of being able to identify the "Ignored" poster when I'm reading a thread based on the comments from the non-ignored people posting in response to them. How nice it is to be able to bypass their drivel without skipping a beat. It's so much better for my health. :-)

3. Good point on tombstoned users. I check through my ignore list
once in a while, and invariably, a few have been tombstoned in the interim. I can't WAIT until the primaries are over, and I can get rid of ignore. I have so many on ignore that for sure, many threads are full of them, but the curiosity of figuring out who it is no longer gets to me. It's good for my blood pressure.

4. Good Grief it's awful in GDP
It seems to be bad a lot of time with the really mean HRC supporters, but today they really seem to be even more angry. I have been putting them on Ignore a lot today. I want so much to be positive and open minded about this Presidential season because there is so much at stake. But when I see someone just being hateful because they want to upset somebody else, I just put them on Ignore and go to a different post. I swear some of those people are the same people who picked on me in PE class in Junior High (I was a shy nerd).

5. I've generally been selective about it, but lately
I've just had to click the red button. So much ignorance and blatant racism, I can't handle it and stay in GDP simultaneously.

7. I have about a dozen of the most rabid Obama-bashers on ignore
And I still see a lot of vile anti-Obama visciousness in GDP.
