Just a hopeful reminder from one of DU's most notorious posters

I say that half in jest - I don't think of myself in that manner, but I occasionally read that by some in response to me.

Anyhow, I implore everyone to keep this group the pro-Obama group it's mostly been.

I clicked in here today and saw quite a few threads that resemble the crap threads on some other sites, and yes, here on DU as well. Please, I beg you all, to try to make this the positive group it's been for a long time. There's no need to imitate certain other areas.

Obama is the nominee, and there's no need to try and bring down HRC here, nor her supporters.

You're free to do what you like, but I swear that it's better to keep this area free of the nastiness that is GDP, or even the Hillgeon. As I've said a few times in this group, "we're better than that," so let's recognize that and move forward in that direction.
