So, does this mean the US has to invade itself?!?!
According to this article:
http://www.9news.com/news/world/article.aspx?storyid=64020

An American General claims to have proof Iranian-sourced weapons are being used in Iraq and, therefore, provides a justification to consider going after Iran (despite NO REAL proof of this and despite NO PROOF that the Iranian gov't itself is involved).

So, based on that "logic", what does the following mean?

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/07/25/iraq.police

and

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/FD24Ak01.html

Thus far, the indigenous Iraqi security forces trained by the US have been both corrupt and ineffective. For instance, much of the equipment supplied to the new Iraqi security forces has fallen into the hands of Iraqi insurgents, and it is believed by Pentagon officials that various individuals in the Iraqi security forces reveal critical and sensitive information to the guerrillas.

I guess it means the US has to invade itself (or re-invade Iraq!)

1. All I know is that if they had any real proof..............
it would be paraded up and down the networks ad infinitum. It amazes me that they haven't captured one Iranian to parade in front of the cameras, hah, and that's with using torture.
Just more of the same old bullshit and the media eats it up......to the detriment of all of us.

6. Well, now they're going to go back to the drawing board and come up with new lies
http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/take-your-quarrels-elsewhere-bush-told/2007/02/01/1169919474255.html

The US Under Secretary of State, Nicholas Burns, sent another warning to Iran against interfering in Iraq, saying US officials had "picked up individuals who we believe are giving very sophisticated explosives technology to Shia insurgent groups who then use that technology to target and kill American soldiers".

However, the Bush Administration has postponed plans to publish a "dossier" of Iranian interference in Iraq, with some officials divided over the strength of the US evidence.

2. I just hope we can reign nut-case in before
other countries take it upon themselves to "liberate" us or "contain" us. Feingold even admits that if congress fails to accomplish anyrhing, it isn't for lack of authority, but for lack of will.
We need to push our reps HARD.
