The talking Barbie Doll on MSNBC said "Osama" instead of...

"Obama" again this morning. She started to say "Osama Bin", then corrected herself and said "er Obama", not "Senator Obama" and not "Barack Obama", just "Obama".

1. I just made essentially the same mistake...

I was writing to a co-worker and mentioned Obama. When the spell-checker ran, it flagged "Obama" as incorrect and the only suggested replacement was "Osama". I was a little too quick on the mouse and changed it. Fortunately I caught it before I hit send.

Disclaimer: Not defending the rightwing mouthpieces on the teevee in any way.

2. Spellcheckers have a 'learn' function, however...

...that allows you to add to their vocabulary.
Be nice if rightwing mouthpieces had the same capability...
