(I am, just remembered all the hillary threads of same stripes and thought it was worth asking with Biden....)

Edited to add: Edwards has a huge house!

7. To me that is such a remote possibility that it won't keep me up
at night pondering if I can support him if he wins the primary.

16. I maybe wrong, but I don't think he has a snowball's chance in Hell of either
VP or Pres nomination. I don't think he is really serious about it either.

I guess I will owe you $5.00 if he is nominated VP.

11. At the least, he'll get a cabinet position.
Guaranteed. For one, his Iraq plan makes the most sense.

13. You bet. In truth I think his odds are pretty long, but your
question is a good one. If he wins the nomination, do we stand by him?

We should. If he is the nominee, then his delegate count at the Denver convention represents a plurality or majority of Democrats just like us who voted for him. Their votes aren't better or worse than ours if ours went to someone else's candidacy.

Also in this current international landscape, we could do a lot worse on foreign policy. Biden, for whatever specific votes you object to about him, has given us many liberal votes over a long period -- all of them valuable -- and knows foreign policy, not an unhandy thing to know after 8 years of the Bush administration, whose foreign policy is being conducted by individuals who are unable to distinguish their nether orifices from a hole in the ground.

This is no time to limit discussion or dialogue on foreign policy. Biden knows his stuff. And he's playing on the blue team.

15. I honestly can't see him winning the nom, but if he does I will vote for him.
Hoping for a better option though. I think Biden, all his flaws notwithstanding, might make an ok VP. Still, there are others I would prefer.

17. Since this is based in fantasy...of course I will.
As I would support any of the Dem candidates who end up with the nom.

I may not be as enthusiastic in my support for Biden...but with this cluster*fuck we're in, even old Joe is looking pretty good. :eyes:

He would be 200% better than what we have now.
