Shit---if that's all it takes to freeze a whole God Damn major city, expect more of it from real pranksters. It seems to me that Homeland Security might hire just a couple of common sense people to determine a prank or not. Any 13 year old would have figured the one out yesterday.

Unbelievable that people panic when something this obvious comes out. I guess all you need to do to panic the populace is put something out in public where it's not expected and they'll shut down the freeways.

It's like the time they shut down the airports when someone may or may not have slipped past security. I had to wait 6.5 hours outside at DFW while they rescreened everybody in the terminal because someone "saw" a woman go past the security checkpoint without going through the metal detectors. The general consensus was that no one went through but they had to check anyway.
