Why do they think that Mc Cain is a Maverick..
he seems to not Know what he is talking about one week he is with the generals and the amount of troops and the next he is spouting something else, he seems to go with whatever way the wind blows or in whatever way that he thinks will get him elected...

1. Mainly because he isusually the opposing voice in theSenate Pubs.
Many times I agree with him in his Senate positions, or at least a lot more than I ever agree with the Pubs. On the campaign trail in 2000, he was a Maverick, but no more! Nowheis doing & saying anything he thinks will get him elected!

7. McCain is SO NOT a Maverick
Edited on Thu Feb-01-07 05:30 PM by LibraLiz1973
He is the exact opposite of that term.
The republican party attacked and attempted to destroy his credibility AND HIS FAMILY back in 1999 and instead of going ballistic he bent over and grabbed his ankles. All these years later GW and pals are still giving him a stiff D.F.P. and he does nothing but rubber stamp there stuff. OH SURE, from time to time he disagrees... but I think we all know that is a joke.

He may have started out a Maverick, but his need to be President has forced him to become a liar and a pussy.
