Tweety learns about today's revelations in the Libby trial and ....
promptly opens a discussion on Joe Biden's comments about Obama.

David Schuster came on and gave a report about the testimony and evidence offered in the Libby trial today. That evidence indicates that snarlin' Dick Cheney and Scooter had discussions about "outing" Plame in retaliation for Joe Wilsons Op-Ed. Matthews reacted like he was touching a hot stove. He said "thanks for the info" without comment and immediately opened a round table discussion on Joe Biden's idiotic mumblings about Obama.

If anyone was curious as to whether the MSM was continuing to cover for BushCo. - they are!

7. Yeah, the only currency the story has is that ...
Biden likely shot down any chance he had during his announcement of his candidacy. That said, there are already so many candidates that such a story is not of great interest.

5. Tiny Tim will be final prosecution witness, I've heard
It was in yesterday's testimony that Mary Hagalin's comment about "Tim hates Chris" came out. Wonder if that will be explored in further depth when Russert hits the stand (!).

13. Tiny Tim seems like more of an establishment shill to me
Even thought Tweety is irritating in his own way, I see Russert as the bigger kiss-ass. He's probably just jealous because Tweety's become a regular character on "SNL" (!!).

14. plus Russert has the bigger pulpit, Tweety might be on everyday but
Press the Meat is almost an institution-i know, i know-who wants to live in an institution.

Russert lobbed an awful lot of softballs in the past years and maybe Tweets hammering Cheney on this is making it harder for Timmy to get the "big gets".

4. Tweety's such a drama queen
He's all over the story, breathless with excitement, but when there's a REAL development, he just can't even touch it.

I cannot WAIT for KOlbermann's take on this ... At least he's not afraid to look under the rock!

6. He changes the subject to avoid talking about Russert
and the revelation that fat Timmy hates Tweety. Sure he's covering for them but he's also trying to avoid discussion of why one of his co workers can't stand him. (Keith Olbermann has too much class to get involved in this cat fight but I'd sure like to know what he thinks of Tweety. The vibes between them at the SOTU were icy at best).

9. If you have watched Matthews for a while, He is no fan of Dick Cheney
Matthews is maddening sometimes but I don't see him covering for Cheney.

10. No cover up here. Tweety just loves gossip too much and gets bored easy
don't look for a conspiracy in everything. We all know how Tweety gets with gossipy stuff and this is his current obsession. He gets bored and if nothing much is going on and he is obsessing about something else he will ignore the first. that isn't covering for anyone. It's indulging his obsession over something.

12. he's probably scared to say too much about it.....
I mean, there was one time when Libby called Russert to bitch about something Matthews said. He probably doesn't want Bush or Cheney to call him....

15. He may also have been told to not "over-comment" on the whole
story since he evidently is involved. Just report the basics and move on. JMHO
