Breaking: Joe Scarborough finally gets pissed off and starts asking
questions.

He's screaming that Dubya's not a conservative and that the "you're either with us or against us" is not patriotic.

"I would stay the course if there was any evidence at all that this could be won."

Hysterical.

I guess he finally got it that these kids are dying.

I guess he finally got it that he's been propping up a dangerous dictator.

Just about 5 years too late, Joe. Nice how you insulted me for those 5 years while I was ahead of you the whole time.

You know that ad for Geico insurance where the lady is telling her story, and the announcer guy with the deep voice interprets her? His last statement into the microphone is .... "Payback. This time, it's for real." Perfect for a DU tag line these days!

14. maybe not---Scarbie was also losing it over Smirky's Katrina performance
Scarbo was taking ice and water in big trucks to NO from the moment he saw Katrina on the maps before it hit. He was ready for what happened and actually helped the people of NO while Smirk was doing nothing with his cohorts Michael Jerkoff and Heckuva Job Brownie.

28. I'm not cheering...
I'm just enjoying watching the bastard pop an artery.

Frankly, I think they're all pissed off because the administration totally screwed up the occupation. Scar's last words on the matter were - Either come up with a plan that works or get the troops out of Iraq. So he's still for staying with a workable plan.

And he hasn't covered the Libby trial yet tonight. That says a lot. I think it's all too much for the right wingers. Everything is crashing and burning. They're doomed as a movement.

25. Jaw Dropping To Say The Least!!
I wish I could write what I'm thinking right now... but can't!!

FOLKS, it's time to STOP the DICK & his TATOR!! I simply cannot believe that we have just let this crap go on and on and on and on and on! And I'm so very sorry... that includes DEMOCRATS who STILL want to play some freaking "game" with people's lives!!

I have been so irritated for so long now, I don't even know what to call the feeling I'm having now!! I think I actually understand WHY some people just "lose it!" THEY are INSANE, but we could NEVER use it as a DEFENSE against what we might be thinking about BFEE!!

THIS IS AMERICA... or maybe NOT!!!!!!!

STOP THE MANIAC... don't know how... BUT STOP THE MANIAC!!!!!

32. Mirroring the concerns of the sheep calms them down a bit
For they feel that someone, somehow, in authority understands the dangers and will somehow do something about it.

Its all theatre designed to let off steam and calm the concerns of a public about to embark upon a suicidal mission to make the Middle East into a colony of the U.S. and Israel.

It seems to be working quite well.

37. On the other hand...
It gives right wing viewers permission to have a change of heart and express it publicly. I think no matter why Scar acted like this, it can have devastating results among the koolaid drinkers.

40. At this point, given the congress we have, there is nothing
nothing, nothing to stop the war on Iran train from going off the cliff. Accordingly, his harping is meaningless chatter to help calm the public

35. He said it was insulting to suggest that to be against the war you aren't a conservative.
Maybe he's getting a taste of how we've all felt for the past few years as we've been told that to oppose the Iraqi war was to oppose America...

A flavor, I might add, that guys like Joe helped spread around...

It's good he's finally getting it. It's too bad it took so fucking long.

He's mad because now he's being lumped in with the rest of us. That is what pisses him off. I'm glad to see him waking up, and I'll take what I can get, but as you said, he enabled his cronies by allowing them to come on his show and spout lies left and right.

43. This is what I was thinking as I watched Joe erupt.
He was terribly upset that the White House was referring to Republicans - Republicans! - as "comforting the enemy". It was nice to see Joe's tardy but welcome outrage. But where was he when the president said that Democrats who disagreed with him were aiding the enemy? It's the same damn thing, Joe.

Conservatives rarely seem to get upset about anything that happens to the "other guy". But oh boy, when it's me or my people that are getting hit, watch out!

42. Last night he spoke of "the coming war with Iran"
Not the "POSSIBLE coming war." He said "THE coming war."

Then he let some guy from US News and World Report whine about those nasty French and how Chirac just keeps saying "I told you so," about the Iraq War, and isn't it outrageous that the French don't support us? And Buchanan piled on with some equally anti-French bile.

No one bothered to mention the fact that Chirac was right.
