2. In some trials, Friday AM is reserved for evidentiary matters to be resolved...

.... there seem to be a boatload that have yet to be resolved, while the trial is ongoing. I would have thought that pretrial hearings, and motions practice would have smoked out most of the major evidentiary issues before the trial got underway.
