We are rapidly losing the luxury of time for full-length investigations.
Bush is doing his best to provoke a war with Iran, and I don't see how we can stop him short of removing him from office. The president and his cronies have such a talent for obstruction that it is doubtful that any investigation will uncover anything in time to conclude an impeachment. They could fight it for years in the courts using frivolous legal activities. By the time anything is settled, it may be too late. Cue the chorus of "move on" from the babbling pundits. God forbid we give our laws meaning by actually punishing violators. That would make the media feel bad, and we wouldn't want that now, would we? :sarcasm:

1. Time is a piece of string, and how long is that?
I don't share your doubt.

3. I would welcome reasons that point away from my premise.
WASHINGTON: President George W. Bush's national security advisers have ordered a delay in publication of evidence intended to support Washington's contention that Iran supplies lethal technology and other aid to militias in Iraq, senior administration officials said.

President George W. Bush said he has authorized the U.S. military to stop suspected Iranian agents operating in Iraq from attacking civilians or American troops.

Take a look for yourself. Bush authorized the military to attack Iranian agents, when there is no public evidence of the underlying accusation for that order. That's scary. He's applying the same methods he used to start the Iraq War to Iran.

2. Not ot mention that if Bush does war, investigating will become a traitorous
act....and the GOP and media will keep pounding that into Americans' brains.
