Stupid and stubborn trumps wise and compromised
--every single time. Look around your office, amongst your colleagues & in many cases, families. Look who always gets their way.

I feel like the past 7 years has been not much more than this fight in action every day, with people at the helm who understand enough to know how to gamble on the side that wins every time.

We can prove someone lied as much as we want. We can show something is immoral, unconstitutional, inhumane. The S & S's will shrug their shoulders. "So?".

They're immune to being proven wrong with facts, reason, or appeals to human decency. They live in a world of wills. All they know is whether something "will" or "will not" happen, and they know the victor is the one with the strongest will (and the strongest tools to implement it).

And they are winning. They are out to erase us like the white man tried to do to the Native American. That is their goal, and they have the will. Not to defend a piece of paper, or other set of ideals that makes the most people in the country happy. All they want is the tools to impose their will on the world.

We need to be aware of this, so we know what we're fighting against. Symbolic votes and damning essays in the newspapers do not affect these people.
