How common is it to have tornadoes in January or February?
and at night?

It often seems that the winds die down once the sun sets..

6. Spring Storm in February?
I guess it is all relative... it is 4F in the Twin Cities with Wind Chill Index now "warm" at -10, but was -25 when Florida was hit.

3. Here in Florida, it's fairly common, as tornados go..
We don't get tornados too often, but when we do, it's usually this time of year, unless they come during a hurricane.

4. Here in Tornado Alley, (KS) they generally come in the spring
and early fall. Last year we got one in March. Way too early. :scared:

8. Thanks for the link
Seems that January is more common than February, but neither can "beat" April, May and June.

9. When, a tornado went through my Northern VA neighborhood
A couple of years ago, the universal reaction was, "What? There must be some mistake. Tornadoes don't happen here."
