1. i read this earlier today and my only question is--didn't Dahmer already

admit to a bunch or heinous disgusting things and if so did the police think he wouldn't admit guilt in this case because he was afraid it would make him look bad? Like he wasn't a monster already?

2. There's a lot of doubt

Many believe he confessed to everything, and wonder just what you asked. But, a child was out of character for him, so who knows? It's all very circumstantial, but could likely lead to the reopening of the case. I'm not certain I'd want to know, but I suppose there is some sort of closure it could offer the family.
