Over at Jim Robinson's FreeRepublic.....
...they are reacting in typical psychotic fashion to the news that a lobbying group attempted to bribe a group of scientists in exchange for their scientific integrity regarding the proven theory of global warming.

Ten grand is like taking candy from a baby when it comes to a summary of a report that is based in stupidity of global proportions...

Of course, considering all the millions in grant monies that will only get awarded to you if you say that you're going to do research to PROVE global warming...

Oh sure. $10,000 is going to buy a lot of people with million dollar educations and tenure in Colleges and Universities. Whoever concocted this story is probably alternating between McDonells, and some technical institute.

3. I am forced to listen to right wing radio here in Dallas TX on my way to and from work
every day. And they're all incensed about global warming. Why??? I know they all get the same talking points faxed to them every day ..... but even the callers are calling Al Gore and the scientists idiots. I don't get it....the callers sure don't sound like oil company ceo's. What is it about global warming that pisses off the right wing "plain folk" so much?

9. What irks them... what really, really irks them...
is that we liberals have been proven right AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. Their entire philosophy is bankrupt - nothing their heroes have promised them has come true. But what those nattering nabobs of liberalism told them from the very start, was RIGHT. Oh and that just twists their underwear!

of the talking points; they absorb them gradually, repeatedly, from radio and TV and then repeat them back in their calls and in their conversations at work and with family and friends.
