8. drive-by paint job
soldiers would hold spray cans out the window as they drove past the schools,
it was for efficiency, they could paint more schools that way

10. Aw C'mon...That's "Librul Media" Again...
Where's all that good news...we know it's happening there...or so the wingnuts keep saying so. All we need are another 40,000 troops and everything will be sweetness and light. This is just "fear mongering" from the "Communist Broadcast System" :sarcasm:

Has anyone else been hearing about the looming battle for Kirkuk? If fighting breaks out there...between Kurds, Shiites and Sunnis, this civil war will go into hyper-drive...and all booshie can think about is bombing Iran.

11. You think?
You think it was any accident that we started losing helicopters at a fast pace as soon as the "surge" was announced?

George Bush just raised $10, the insurgents re-raised $100. And they have the cards.

13. Correction, George Bush just raised $265 billion
As if just throwing money that this nation's great-granchildren will still be paying off will solve things.

17. My amounts were metaphorical..
... it doesn't matter how much money George raises, he is trumped.

14. The meaning of "Mission Accomplished" depends upon what you have
signified by the "mission". These days, I'm thinking that it means to destabilize the nation of Iraq by creating perpetual chaos, then move onto another country and do the same thing. While chaos isn't necessarily the best friend for free enterprise, it has benefit for monopolies and exploitation of raw materials, that is, oil. Iran would be the third country so far, and then there's always Syria, and maybe turn on our "friends" in Saudi Arabia, even Jordan. You just don't create Empire overnight . . .

15. As Biden said a few minutes ago
the only mission he has accomplished is more terrorists in Iraq. Fugg Bush.
