............

Having easily passed their initial agenda last month, including an increase in the minimum wage and ethics reforms, House Democrats think Bush is beginning to inch toward them on their next round of priorities, including addressing global warming, income inequality and education.

On the most pressing issue -- Iraq -- Bush and House Democrats have not closed their gap.

"We need a diplomatic surge," House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (news, bio, voting record), a Maryland Democrat, said to reporters in a reference to Bush's controversial plans to increase U.S. troops in Iraq.

For all the talk of bipartisanship, six years of political infighting between Democrats and Bush has taken a toll. Some House Democrats have been asking, "Why is he (Bush) coming" to their retreat, Hoyer said.

2. Why are Democrats "retreating"?
The limits of one's language are the limits of their world. Call it an "attack". And do so.

3. He has to make an appearance...
...to remind those Dems who are being blackmailed---that they'd better
not get too pumped up on democracy and patriotism--unless they want their
trysts with Haitian hookers revealed to the world.

4. Date rape, bi-partisanship
The two words remain bound together in my mind.

The GOPers of today are slime. No one of any intelligence should invite them anywhere.

5. when are they going to treat that little s**thead like the clown he is?
They act like he's somebody they should respect.

My 90-year-old father was so upset when he saw Nancy Pelosi standing and applauding * at the end of the SOTU he still gets angry thinking about it. I noticed even Dennis Kucinich glad-handing the scourge as he walked in, also.

Hey, WE DON'T WANT TO "WORK WITH" A MASS MURDERER AND NARCISSTIC, UNCONSCIENABLE SHITHEAD WANNABE EMPEROR WHO IS DRAINING OUR WALLETS FOR HIS PRIVATE WARS. Tell him he's NOT WELCOME at a Democrats' function.
