I found this for my wife as we wanted to get a list of things for each month on Homeschooling to teach on, thought I would share here for us all to use.

12 Lincoln’s birthday (Section 37220 of the Education Code states that public schools close on the Monday or Friday of the week in which February 12 occurs.)
15 Susan B. Anthony’s birthday (Section 37221 of the Education Code)
17 National PTA Founder’s Day
18-25 National Future Farmers of America Week
20 Frederick Douglass Day
22 Washington Day (Section 37220 of the Education Code states that Washington Day shall be observed the third Monday in February.)

Edited to add a note: This is for CA (which is where I am moving) if you need help finding a more local one let me know. I am pretty sure a lot of them are mirrored (the national X parts) so that should help some.
