I guess you can just stick anybody up there and say they speak for an entire party.

He just ran a campaign against, mainly, Democrats.

Good Lord....

6. I don't know. I googled and it looks like he is consulting but he started
a blog where he called himself "officially homeless politically" on the intro page so I don't think he should be representing himself as a Democrat.

"The last disillusioning straw was the outrageously disrespectful way Lieberman was treated by the party in the 2004 Democratic primary process. Here was a model leader and loyal Democrat who had marched with MLK and devoted his life to advancing the party’s core values of opportunity and freedom and tolerance, yet was persistently vilified by the activist base as a sell-out and a traitor primarily for standing by his vote to authorize the use of force against Iraq. (Unlike some of the other leading primary candidates, who cynically wilted and waffled on that issue to curry favor with anti-war voters).

I knew then that I was officially homeless politically. I also knew that to preserve my mental health I had to get out of town. (For a fuller explanation of why I left Washington, you can read a speech on the subject I gave almost a year ago at Penn’s Fels Institute of Government.) So I moved to New York, where I ended up launching my own commnications consulting practice, which specializes in advising non-profits and advocacy groups on how to win public arguments."

http://dangerstein.blogspot.com/2006/01/opening-day.html

His resume mentioned this "Most recently, Gerstein, 39, helped engineer Joe Lieberman’s historic re-election in the nationally-watched U.S. Senate race in Connecticut. He served as communications director and a lead strategist for Lieberman’s general election campaign, which was honored by National Journal as the political “Comeback of the Year” for 2006. "

3. Face it - the Coverup wing of the party has won for now. The anti-corruption
open government Democrats are being forced aside by the coverup crew and their GOP allies in the corpmedia who, if they have to have a Dem in in charge, will at least make it the Dems they KNOW will continue to protect the secrecy and privilege of the DC powerstructure.

5. Several "Democratic Strategists" on MSNBC are DINOs
Case in point, Hillary Rosen, who was head of the RIAA when it started suing people for file-sharing.
