Rice refuses to answer questions about Middle East, but says Colts will win Super Bowl

P.S. Regarding the Colts, "And that would be a good thing," WHY?

====
02/02/2007 --

She made clear Friday that she wants the Indianapolis Colts to win the National Football League Super Bowl championship game Sunday over the Chicago Bears, but her words were measured.

During a photo opportunity to tell Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov goodbye, the two refused to answer questions about the Middle East situation, the subject of Lavrov's visit. Then, as they turned away, a reporter asked Rice to forecast the outcome of the top U.S. sporting event of the year.

"I really like both Chicago and Indianapolis, but I think Indianapolis is going to win it," she said. Then, as if it were an afterthought, she added: "And that would be a good thing."

4. At least she's clammed up about stuff she doesn't know about
I mean, why in the world would anyone ask Dr. Rice a serious question about the Middle East? You'll probably come away from the encounter dumber than when it started.

18. Yes. "A different galaxy."
One that's far, far away.

Really, really far away.

20. The woman does have some strengths, I admit.
For example, she scowls as well -- or better -- than anyone in recent public life.

I believe she could out-scowl a puma.

11. What the hell are we paying her for anyway? What the hell does this woman do all day long?
She's got to be one of the most ineffective SOS we've had. In the past you would always hear about the SOS office sending a diplomatic team or envoy here or there but this bunch seems to do nothing as problems spiral totally out of control. Its unbelievable.

12. I have no idea.
Truly all I will remember her for is not imagining planes could be used as weapons and shopping for ferragamo shoes.
