he's said something similar before. I was only half paying attention though,

McCain's views on Iraq are so layered with delusion it is tough to figure out what exactly he thinks will happen or should be done or even what anybody wants on any side. He wants more troops in Iraq, even more than what we have now, yet he bases that on little more than a hope and a prayer that something will happen to fix the political situation over there. It's weird.

And he was also talking of "Iranian-influenced Shia groups" in the south around Basra.

Interesting that we never really heard about that all that much while the British were controlling that area nor really after they gave it up.

4. who knows what McCain's position will be after the break?
He could have some "handler" talk to him during the commercials and he could suddenly change - like he did on gay marriage a few months back.
