When will we know?
I am looking for some discussion about the primaries in general. My understanding of the the primaries is rudimentary at best and now there is talk about Nevada and California and about changing the dates for some of them. Does anyone know when the primaries will be held and their true significance? When will we know who our candidate will probably be?

2. Chuck Todd, Hotline on C-Span
took qestions and answered them this a.m.

He believes that by this time next year--Feb. we will have
selected our Candidate.
He did say there might be a slight possibilty Clinton and Obama
coud tie. Then the contest would continue between Clinton
and Obama. He pointed out the only reason Clinton has
real competition is for the first time, the opposition Candidate
Obama got money early.

I think most of us know Money is "decider". Business and Wealthy
Democratic Contributors have focused their monies on these
two candidates. Unless these two make some really stupid
move, these are the two candidates. By Feb next year we
should know which is our candidate .

The front-loading (pushing state primaries up). Nevada California
etc. makes this possible.

Someone did ask point bank ask him the chances for a White Female
Or African American to win over a White Male.
Chuck thought for a moment. What this means is that
Hilary and Obama each have hurdles to overcome that
others do not.
