Not that many years ago, he was a VP candidate, and only one court decision away from office. He made a huge splash by winning re-election, despite 40% of his state recognizing him as the scum that he is. Yet, recently, he must be pissed. His good friend McCain doesn't seem receptive to his VP repeat offers. His good friends in the Democrat Party ignore him in the bowels of the Senate. His good friends in the Republic party laugh behind his back, mainly at his posturing, but equally so at his arrogant naivete.

In the unkindest, cruelest and most painful cut of all, MSM ignores him.

Returning to his coccoon of insignificance must be so hard for him.
