AFA takes credit for Ford's sales drop, cites their boycott of Ford for its pro-gay policies

February 1, 2007

Ford sales drop 19% in January

Sales of Ford Motor Company autos went down 19% in January, compared to a year ago.

In 8 of the 10 months since AFA began the boycott of Ford because of the motor company's support for the homosexual agenda—including same-sex marriage, Ford's sales have gone down compared to a year ago.

Wal-Mart has announced they will no longer support or oppose controversial issues. Ford originally made a similar pledge to AFA but reneged when a small group of homosexual leaders demanded retraction.

AFA has repeatedly asked Ford to remain neutral in the culture wars, but the company has continued to promote the homosexual agenda.

During the November elections, Ford pointed their employees to visit a radical left wing online voters guide for information on how to vote. The Website that contained the guide urged votes against constitutional amendments banning homosexual marriage, for stem cell research in Missouri and against an amendment banning abortion in South Dakota.

2. I think it is the crappy cars they make.
I bought a 2005 Ford freestyle two years ago. I saw one just like it in the paper for sale at a dealer last week for only $12,000. I paid over $26,000 new for it. 12K is now the retail value of the car. The trade-in value must be about 8K now for the retail to be 12K. So basically my car has lost over 2/3 of it value in two years. And I have three years left of payments to make. At this rate I probably will be upside down on it until I make the last payment.

3. If they take credit, then they should take responsibility for the
families hurt by their boycott.

4. They are a real collection of extremists....
I went to their website to do some research for our local Progressive Democrats of America organization, and the AFA could seriously be classified as a hate group. It's just filled with anti-gay venom.

8. If what they say is true, they have damaged many families that
depend on Ford. That also includes vendors who supply Ford, and small businesses who have thrived servicing the employees. How many children are going to be homeless because of AFA? They have committed an act of war against the people of America. They are admitting to an act of treason against America.

6. Subaru also advertises to the gay community, yet I don't see their sales
falling. Ford's drop in sales is due to poor quality of cars.
