A "Smirk" of supporters
At HuffPo

"This also begs another question: what is the plural for Bush/Cheney supporters? These people deserve their own plural term like a "school" of fish or a "murder" of crows. How about a "wallet" of Bush/Cheney supporters? Or a "clot" of Bush/Cheney supporters? A "mug"? A "rash"? Wait, I've got it: A "smirk" of Bush/Cheney supporters. Well, you can choose whichever you like."

Good stuff here:

8. The gratuitous puppy is a nice touch.
It was interesting in the comments to the article, several people commented that Bush's numbers had gone down ONLY because he'd gone too "soft". Nuke a few more countries, lower more rich people's taxes and put some leftwingers out of business, and you'd see his numbers soar to 50% again.

And I think they're probably right.

How different would people's thinking be if the US was in closer proximity to the countries in which we're creating all these problems? What if we were next door to - say - Turkey? Or take a left turn at Dubai? If people could actually see and talk to people impacted by our nutball policies, would it change their mind at all?
