Weather report for 2/4/07--check in, DUers
Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 06:27 PM by Skidmore
It's 4 on the thermometer, up from -1 when I woke up this morning. Windy, with windchills of -28 and dropping.

I don't know how much gas costs because I'm not going out till I have to tomorrow.

Edited to add that the temperature just dropped 3 degrees after I hit submit.

6. It's pretty darn cold here on the SE side of the state, too
Near Royal Oak. Currently 5 degrees, feels like -10. I refused to leave the house today. Got all my errands done yesterday and begged off of a high school reunion meeting.

2. the second nice day in almost 2 months here is SE NM
clear and in the 60s which is a far cry from the freezing temps we've had for weeks

I bought gasoline for the car at $2.17 and LPgas $197.00 for 100 gallons for my tank out back to keep the furnance and stove working. LP gas is the same as last August

22. with a windchill that drops it by about -15 degrees,
Advice - run a trickle of water down at least one sink - and for any plumbing that shares an outside wall (due to windchill and gusting winds) - open any cabinets (if there are some) to use the heat of the house/apt/condo/etc to help keep pipes from freezing.

back yard. It's -3 in Madison, Wisconsin, but the fire is hot.
