"Ya see, there's a difference ya see, in other words, ya see, were better off WITHOUT Saddam in power, ya see, he gassed his own people ya see"

Seems to me the trend isn't headed in the right direction & his response was utter bullshit, so what's new?

His response to the question about the report was "They said SINCE 9/11, there's a difference!"

6. I don't get it. Did Bush claim that Al Qaeda is stronger now than they were at 9/11?
I believe they are. I think most experts believe they are. Did Bush admit it?

7. He attempted to make the point that even though they are the
strongest since 9/11 that they are still weaker than they were BEFORE 9/11, since we launched the "terror war" against them.

Pretzel logic, anyone?

8. No, he did not. He specifically refuted that:
The president also downplayed reports that al Qaeda has rebuilt to its strongest levels since 9/11. “There is a perception in the coverage that al Qaeda may be as strong today as they were on September the 11th,’’ Bush said. “That is simply not the case… Because of the actions we have taken, they are weaker than they would have been…

10. Yeah, yeah, yeah - keep telling yourself that, Bushie...
An excerpt from an old 'Ndrangheta (Calabrian Mafia) tune - first in the original Calabrian dialect of Italian, then in English:

L' omertá é cumandamentu
Esti leggi saggia e giusta
Cu prestau lu giuramentu
Lu sgarrari assai ci custa

Occhiu tengu ma nun viu
Sugnu surdu e puru mutu
Sacciu i reguli di Diu
Ma restu sempri nu tambutu

Omertá, omertá
Chista é leggi societá
Leggi chi non perduna
A cu faci infamitá

Secrecy is a commandment
It's a law that's just and wise
Whosoever breaks his oath
He must pay - he knows the price

I have eyes, but I see nothing
I am deaf and mute as well
For I know the laws of God
And always keep them to myself

Code of silence, code of silence
It's the law of our society
A law that does not forgive
Those who break their secrecy
