So I turned on my radio and listened to Ed Schultz say... we have to impeach...
Why is this important? He, not Randhi Rhodes, was financed as rumor has it by the DNC.
His turning on it, at least to me, is a trial balloon
They know the people want it.
They knew we can almost taste it
They also know that in this parade they cannot afford to be left behind
So lets do a nice flashback to oh the hot summer of 1974 and the Saturday Night Massacre. That was the moment that the people understood Nixon believed himself to be above the law.
The Scooter Libby fiasco (and pardon by another name) is that exact same moment. It has crystallized for many folks that George W Bush believes himself to be above the law
So here is your job... call them, dems, republicans, does not matter. Remind them that WE are on the drivers seat, and demand impeachment.
Yep, we all know the excuses... those same excuses were also used back in the good ol' days of Watergate. And believe you me, they are waiting for us to lead the damn parade. This is the nature of politics. Impeachment back then did not happen because Democrats had a spine. It happened because the people demanded it.
Oh and in case you all wonder, welcome to Constititutional Crisis... we are already to our necks in it. The next few months, at least in my estimation, will tell us if this corpse of a republic survives, or if the patient has finally flat lined.
Regardless, you are now in the front row of history... We did not choose to be here, but we are here...
