Praise Jesus!!! Ted Haggard is now completely cured!!!

(February 06, 2007 -- 11:22 AM EDT)

Phew! What a relief. That board of four ministers appointed to cure disgraced minister Ted Haggard of his homosexuality has been meeting pretty intensively. And it turns out Haggard is now "completely heterosexual."

Rev. Tim Ralph of Larkspur, one of the four, said: ''He is completely heterosexual. That is something he discovered. It was the acting-out situations where things took place. It wasn't a constant thing.''

I'd like to know what the treatments were.
Something out of the Spanish Inquisition, no doubt.

7. I think it would be fair to say
that any such "treatment" administered by a "christian" would not be natural nor commonly accepted as a practice in a free, thinking community. Just what the fuck will these yahoos do when he falls off the reservation again?

8. This is just sad.
People should be free to be who they are, not try to fit themselves into somebody else's image. It's always a poor fit.

How many years was Haggard "acting out situations where things took place"? And that's all supposed to be gone in four weeks? What's going to be their excuse when old Ted "acts out" again?

:puke:

That was fast. But not surprising. He simply "decided" not to be gay anymore. And voilà...

...that means it's someone else's turn.

Don't look at me. I've made plans this weekend, people.

12. LOL! (derisive laughter, Bruce)They kicked him out of town to "heal" elsewhere.
in the spirit of "caring and forgiveness". :eyes:

btw: tonight's 'Boston Legal' has a case where a Judge is suing a company that promotes pills to "cure" homosexual urges......seems the pills might not be working.

13. That was pretty fast
He must have been able to test out of some hours like in college I tested out of Spanish I and II.

Surely he was an advanced heterosexual going into this.

15. From the same article...
...we also have this tidbit: "As part of his continuing recovery and presumably in the spirit of forgiveness and caring, the group has also recommended he leave Colorado permanently and go into a different line of work."

Yeah, looks like they're really convinced that he's "cured" all right.

Good for Larkspur! I didn't even know they had a church.
