Fresno Co. hangings on the rise after Saddam

In the month after the hanging death of Saddam Hussein, six people in Fresno County committed suicide by hanging themselves.

That number of hanging suicides, coroner's officials say, is unusual in such a short period of time.

On average, two people kill themselves by hanging every month in Fresno County.

Officials are not saying there is a definitive link between the suicides in Fresno County and the Iraqi dictator's high-profile execution, but they are not ruling out the possibility that news coverage could have led people to kill themselves that way.

2. Being in Fresno it is quite possible that they are repubs

members of the Republic party that have realized how wrong they are. How un-normal they are and how they can never fit in with civilized people, so they have killed themselves. It is what happens when republics see the light of day IMHO.

If anybody knows of a decent-paying job ANYWHERE ELSE, I'd be interested.

BTW - here in Fresno, we have worse air quality than LA. The major source of air pollution comes from cows farting. That's right, cow farts.
The weatherman can't talk about our poor air quality without using the term "particulate matter," and that particulate matter comes from...cows.

Unemployment rate of 10%, daily murders, a crappy school system, levels of poverty that make NOLA look like Beverly Hills - you get the picture.

I've lived many places and Fresno isn't just the bottom of the barrel, it's the slime underneath the bottom of the barrel.
