5. Oh, you absolutely can. Before "Family Filters" on browsers,

it was all too common. I was looking for some public domain web images of faces to use on a corporate web page several years ago, and a simple search for "face" gave me more graphic porn than I could have imagined. I had to shut down my browser pretty damned fast before someone noticed and made inappropriate judgment on my activities. :(

6. When my daughter was in jr high, she had to do a report on

events that happened the year she was born. Anyway, one of these was "Hands Across America". When we entered it into a search engine, we got pics of a nude woman using her hands to um...please herself.

7. I was looking for kid's balls on dogpile.com,

and my security popped up to warn me of results for over age 18 only! I didn't click through, but had to keep trying different terms (children's balls, play balls and toy balls), before the results weren't potentially illegal and perverted. I finally looked under sports equipment. :crazy:

It bothers me that such innocent search terms drew such XXX perv. results though. Those with kids on the home pc really need to keep it in open view at all times with massive kid guards and site tracking on it.

Congress, hopefully, won't feel the need to create more laws to replace the responsibility of parents to closely monitor their children on the web. Attentive parents do not need them and disinterested parents won't bother anyway.

Am I correct to assume the keyword in your results was HO? :rofl:
