I could never be a US Senator-
Edited on Tue Feb-06-07 05:01 PM by keta11
It is remarkable how Reid and Durbin can stand there and be civil when McCain and Judd "Powerball millionaire" Gregg just told them and the world they don't support the troops if they don't support the bogus surge proposal.

I would have left McCain (Mr. war hero) whimpering and cowering in a corner after I dealt with him rhetorically.

2. For too long, Democrats have allowed them to claim
to speak for the troops. Some nerve McCain has!!!!!!

I probably would be kicked out of the Senate for intemperate language if I were there.

3. Same here.
I like to follow politics, obviously, but I hate *doing* politics, even office politics. Hate the nicey-nicey junk. Cut to the chase, be honest, have it out. Ugh.

4. I'd be thrown out in a heartbeat
None of that "I like to thank the gentlewoman or man, but respectfully disagree" shit.

Mine would go something like this "What are you fucking crazy".

-I would like to point out to the moron who preceded me that...
- How did the Senator make it out of grade school? I doubt he could debate a 10 year-old child with his logic.
- Who appointed you to speak for the troops?
- Are you more American than those who oppose the war?
- Are you stupid, heh? heh? Are you ignorant....
- Come here, fool, I would headbutt you, non-thinking MFer!!

8. I could NEVER be elected! it seems like the first requirement is
NOT to tell the truth but to tell who you're speaking to what they want to hear!

If you think back over the years, NOBODY has ever been elected, at least not in a State or National campaign, who has actually been HONEST!

I'm afraid I'd be tossed off the campaign for slamming my opposition for lyinb and being a political hack!

10. I know what you mean...
the dems try to be so nice and cordial, they need to stop beating around the BUSH! Can't they see that the republiCONS still believe that they have all of the power, they need to give it to them straight like Feingold does he told them the other week that they are still playing the same game, of stay the course as though they are in charge of everything...

12. But that's the kind of senators that we need:
those that would stand up to the nutcases and tell them they're crazy.
