Last night on NBC evening news, what were they avoiding?

THey covered the cold snap, the Nowak story, breast cancer recurrence story, and had several stories about New Orleans: people rebuilding, the firefighters, children of N-O.

All I could think of was, "What are they NOT covering?"

6. A day without horrendous death totals in Iraq is a day to cover

other things for the MSM. ABC had a long segment on the "friendly fire" incident at the beginning of the war and another about the billions of dollars missing at the start of the occupation.

Actually there were 3 car bombs in Baghdad yesterday, but they "only" killed 2 and wounded 17, so it was an off day for those brave guys who are targeting those pesky civilians who are occupying Baghdad.

Not to fear - with the downing of the helicopter today, Iraq will be back in the news big time.
