4. No. You don't have to read the links if you don't want to.
"Sheesh"

:eyes:

I noticed that you didn't provide a comment regarding the article. Oh, the hypocricy!

By the way, I printed all three articles that I posted on here and read them at lunch. I didn't have time to post snippets or commentary because I'm at work. I assumed, perhaps falsely in your case, that people would actually read the articles.

Fucking sue me.

6. my point is if you want people to read them
you might do your cause some good by telling them something about what they're about and why they should read them. Otherwise it looks like just another drive-by..."this is HUGH!!!!!!!111" or "turn on C-SPAN NOW!!!!!!111"

8. That's your problem. Not mine. I take responsibility for what I do.

Not for what others read or choose not to read.

Besides, it was three articles out of countless. Time constraints didn't allow me to do anything but post a link. The title is indication enough.

Oh, and then your snarkiness just sealed the deal.

"Sheesh," indeed.

Edit: I see other discussants in this thread didn't have an issue with reading the material and commented appropriately. Are you embarrassed yet?

9. why should I be embarassed?
And I think you might consider my advice on posting more than a link since your other two threads that only contained a link are dropping like stones and most of the replies on this one involve you and me. But whatever.

3. He did not vote for the Patriot Act or IWR
He said he came to Washington to protect the Constitution and I believe him... I wish he would run... I could really get excited about this candidate.....

5. I'm hoping he reconsiders running.
I posted on another thread that I hope he reconsiders running and that we may have a Gore/Feingold ticket in our future.

Here's to hoping!

7. The Congress has been ignoring its own power to act.
Feingold is right: the Constitution has given Congress the power to decide whether we wage war or not, --and they have given that authority to the Executive Branch. Time to take it back! Congress decides whether and when, and the Executive commands the wars that are begun.

But as far as ending this war goes, I think it needs to be done in an orderly way over a number of months. You can't just pull everyone out now. I like the idea of pulling the combat troops out over the course of this year, with all of them out by December 1st. Leave some advisors, and maybe some in Kuwait. But all combat troops should come home by next Christmas. It's the ONLY way the Iraqis are going to take responsibility for their own country.
