3. Senator Inhofe speaks for me. Not two days ago I was in Burger King,
and I glanced around the tables and there were 4 al Qaeda members on the far side, all of them wolfing Whoppers and fries.

Run for your lives, everyone! The terrorists have infiltrated our every venue!

Thank Jesus Senator Inhofe has the temerity and wherewithal to warn us!

26. Sen. Inhofe is the looniest nut in the bin
Every time he goes to the floor of the Senate to speak, I wonder why his keepers have let him out again. I swear, there are interns in his office assigned to see that Sen. Inhofe takes his anti-psychotic meds daily or else we get sentences like this one from him: (Last June, when the Senate was debating the issue of a Constitutional Amendment to ban Gay Marriages. Inhofe took to the floor to give a speech and had a big pic of his family that he used as a prop in the debate)

Sen. Inhofe: As you see--maybe this is the most important prop we will have during the entire debate--my wife and I have been married 47 years. We have 20 kids and grandkids. I am really proud to say in the recorded history of our family, we have never had a divorce or any kind of a homosexual relationship. I think maybe I am the wrong one to be doing this, as I come with such a strong prejudice for strong families.

I heard him intoning one day last year on the Senate floor on the evils of Liberal Talk Radio and why we couldn't allow that stuff on Armed Services Radio. That was another verbal punch from Sen. Inhofe, the guy who believes that Global Warming is a hoax. (Really, this guy needs a team of shrinks following him around. He slipped all his gears years ago.)

27. Hi, Tay. Nice to see you today. And I agree with you on Inhofe.
A ways back on DU, someone posted a question, asking whether those bio-chemical penis enlargement treatments offered by some doctors "really worked."

It was suggested that yes, from the evidence, they DID work, that a group of Oklahomans had been taking them, and behold -- they have two perfectly huge pricks in the U.S. Senate.

Between Coburn and Inhofe, I'm not sure a team of psychiatrists alone can do it. We're going to need a squad of sure-shot markspersons equipped with zoo tranquilizer, and possibly several of those rodeo people who hogtie cattle and so forth. I'll pay more in taxes to have this done.

35. I'd love to go snooping in his closets...
they're probably packed with skeletons.

I am acquainted with this fundie woman whose grandson is openly homosexual, but she's the only one that doesn't know it. The family's attitude is "don't tell Grandma, it'll kill her".

She's always proclaiming that "if you just pray harder, all your problems will go away, blah blah blah". I always think to myself, "lady, you'd better pray a lot harder".

7 die as U.S. helicopter crashes in Iraq

By KIM GAMEL, Associated Press Writer 22 minutes ago

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A Sea Knight helicopter crashed Wednesday in an insurgent stronghold northwest of Baghdad, killing all seven people on board, the military said, the fifth chopper lost in
Iraq in just over two weeks.

A senior U.S. defense official said the helicopter did not appear to have been hit by hostile fire, but an Iraqi air force officer said it was downed by an anti-aircraft missile and an al-Qaida-linked Sunni group claimed responsibility for the downing.

The twin-rotor CH-46 went down about 20 miles northwest of the capital, said U.S. military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell. "A quick reaction force is on site and the investigation is going on as we speak," he told reporters in Baghdad.

The military said later that the Marine CH-46 helicopter went down in the volatile Anbar province while conducting routine operations and all seven crew members and passengers were killed in the crash.

U.S. forces sealed off the area and helicopters buzzed overhead as flames and a huge plume of black smoke billowed from the wreckage in an open field, not far from a squat concrete farmhouse.

If they have the brass to come here to a country of 300 million people who expect to be free to live their lives as they see fit, when they see fit, they will unleash a firestorm of resistance. Those who come here will be dead in a week.
