When it comes to spending money on Iraq, the sky's the limit. No amount is too high. An extra $100 billion for next year? No problem!

But just try to propose spending that kind of money here at home, on programs that might actually benefit Americans -- then it's, "We can't afford that! Where would the money come from? We'd have to raise taxes!"
