Although Monday's GOP filibuster of a non-binding Senate anti-escalation resolution appears to have derailed the Senate's Iraq debate, now is no time to give up. We need to pressure all U.S. Senators to begin debating binding legislation outlining a plan to end the war, such as Russ Feingold's and Barack Obama's proposed bills.

To that end, I've prepared personalized letters to all 99 active Senators that you can download, print and mail/fax. The basic letter templates are below, but each downloadable letter is personalized with the mailing address. Letters sent by mail & fax remain a very effective way to make an impact, but if you'd rather reach your Senator by e-mail or phone, that contact info is also available here.

I also kicked. We had great turnout sitting at our Representative's offices. All but Rep Ellison's office had consistutes in their office. Rep Ellsion already signed on to the Lee/Waters/Woosley bill.

At Sen. Coleman's office.. they have on FOX news in the sitting area, but we asked them to turn it to C-Span.

And at Rep Kline's office,, they called the cops to remove the 20 people in the office.

We plan on being their next weekend and hoep for a bigger turn out.
