On CNBC business channel this evening they were doing a story on wally world and employee health care. They showed a clip of a corporate Head and a Union leader speaking today. Both were saying that is is past time for universal health care. (thought I must be dreaming).
Later surfed over to Blomberg financial channel and low & behold was Jan Schakowsky (D-rep)& Chris Shays (R-rep) discussing the lack of oversight as for as Iraq contractors were concerned.

Scarborough is talking about Blackwater and how they skimped on equipment for their employees and it how it got the employees killed.

2. Aren't they speaking about "Universal Insurance?" That's not close enough to what we need.

"Insurance" companies siphon off between 25% - 50% of the health care dollar. Very inefficient.

Single-payer health care (like Medicare) is much more efficient.

3. Health insurance premiums are killing businesses.

It's that bad.
