After 79 months of the worst President* in American history, Dennis is a welcome change of pace. It's great to see someone running for President who actually cares for the people and for this country. Dennis truly believes America is the best country on the planet and he's willing to stand up and make sure she stays that way. His compassion for the American people makes me think he's the modern Abraham Lincoln and most likely he would earn Honest Abe's vote.

17. Why people think this man is strange is beyond me

I had the pleasure of being in a group of about 30 progressives the week before the impeachment resolution who met with him in the Rayburn House Office Building in DC one day in April. He is the most engaging, wise, warm and funny guy. He's a very astute and practical politician too, he knows the workings of the House and isn't afraid of disfavor. I among others, was really angry and wanted impeachment. He took my IMPEACH HIM button, and then he proceeded to explain why we couldn't do impeachment out of anger, but we need to act out of love. His explanation was real leadership. I've never encountered a politician like him before. He spoke to me like a very understanding mentor or father.

His wife is the most beautiful person, inside and out and gave us the warmest really genuine smile. She really does adore him, no fake here. And she loved us progressive people.

I wasn't working for him then. I am now.
