Does Air America Offer Podcasts For The iPod......
sorry I'm bringing this up here - but I just got an iPod and I'm learning how to use it. I seem to recall hearing when I stream AAR on my computer - someone on Randi's show (i think) talk about Podcasts. It would be very convenient if I could listen on my iPod - that would be cool.

Also - do I have to worry about viruses if I download Podcasts from any other site other than iTunes?

Any other suggestions as to what other Podcasts I might find interesting?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

3. Do a search for a specific show name on Itunes - I get Randi and
Sedar on Sunday's for free through Itunes but when just looking through the offered podcasts I didn't see them.

I subscribe to Stephanie Miller - you have to pay but it's worth it.

The Diane Rehm show has free podcasts I get on Itunes.

"Wait, Wait Don't tell Me" - free podcast, great show.

Audiobooks are good too.

6. I love listening to audio books. I get them from the library and copy
them into my computer hard drive using my music match. After copying them I can then load them on my mp3 player. All of the John Grisham novels are great.

7. that's what I do. I'm an AAR Premium member and get all of them. You
can listen to more when you don't have to sit through commercials.

9. I just bought an iPod a few weeks ago myself, and here's what I have found
on iTunes:

Best of the Left Podcast - excellent
Bill Moyers Journal - excellent (I recommend the episode on impeachment)
Democracy Now! - available in both audio and video podcasts
Mother Jones Radio
MSNBC Countdown with Keith Olbermann - clips
NBC Meet the Press
NOW - excellent
Real Time with Bill Maher - audio, plus there's a podcast of the Rules
Ring of Fire/AAR
The Progressive Radio Show
The War on Democracy!
Young Turks (first hour daily)
Truthdig Podcast
Veracifier - video
White Rose Society Free Thom Hartmann podcast

Also, off topic, if you have a video iPod, I recommend Channel Frederator - interesting animation

Have fun!
