Minn Bridge Collapse: They found the bodies of the pregnant mom and her toddler daughter
Oh, I just read this and it tore me up. The mom is the one who called home right before the collapse and said she was stuck in traffic on that bridge.

My heart just is broken over this and all the others who died in that disaster. I keep thinking if that bastard Bush had not been sending $9 billion a month over to that fucking lying war he started, today a pregnant mom, her toddler and others would be alive.

FUCK YOU, GEORGE BUSH....if there is a hell, I hope you rot there for eternity.

2. Hey
This can't be laid at just Bush's door, if we blame him then we have to blame all of the members of congress who voted in favor of sedning that money to Iraq. If not for the lack of courage of all who are responsible these people would still be alive.

I know that blaming Bush is easy, but it's too easy, the blame belongs to every single member of congress who keeps throwing that money down the toilet, regardless of the change that a majority of the American people are calling for.

So lets blame all of those that voted yes, not just the Kennebunkport Cowboy and Darth Cheney!

Most importantly my best wishes go out to the family of all who have perished in this disaster.

4. I have to agree with you...
...those bastards let America rot in order to kill and maim overseas. All for fucking political reasons ~~ the "tough on terra" pols.

I am an atheist...but at times like this, I sure as heck wish the mythical place called Hell does in fact exist.

8. The two people mostly to blame are the governor of Minnesota
Phew-lenty for vetoing a bill that would have started to repair the bridges, and his hand picked Lt. Governor, who is also head of the DOT in Minnesota for agreeing with him and turning down the repairs. The Media in Minnesota should cite this over and over...Phew-lenty and his henchmen.

14. Agreed--I don't blame Chimpy here. Bad shit will happen under ANY President's watch,
and the officials of Minnesota are the ones who share the most responsibility here.

Bridge Collapse...

6 Dead, 30 missing...

(Republican Governor)

Recovery efforts halted...

GOOD NEWS...THERE WILL ONLY BE 6 DEAD...

(National Attention moves away)

And the bodies come out, 1 or 2 at a time, making only local news.

I've always maintained that aid was turned away from NOLA so that FEMA could do it's usual "control the scene, minimize the death count" thing...

7. I know it sounds crazy....
...but even with all that I really knew, I kept hoping that the pregnant mother and the toddler had somehow made it. Like they were knocked unconscious and taken to a hospital and still not ID'd. Yeah, I know...a total TV/movie fantasy. But...until I heard that their bodies had been recovered, I kept pulling for them.

This is beyond sad, so beyond I really don't have words to express how badly I feel.

10. They said the husband was destroyed by the news
I have met some Somalis in Minneapolis, and they are kind and gentle people. My heart and prayers goes out to all of them.

12. As if this story isn't heartbreaking enough,
someone posted a link earlier today to a story about a man who, after surviving the bridge collapse, died trying to save this woman and her daughter.

13. Right after the bridge collapse I had the image of a diver unstrapping a baby from a carseat.
I hated to hear that a mother and child were among the missing.
