Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters believe that allowing the government to intercept phone calls from terrorist suspects makes America safer. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 26% disagree while 15% are not sure.

I seriously doubt it. I haven't seen any evidence showing that it does. This is hype. It gives the government a lot of opportunity to eavesdrop on business calls, which make up the bulk of overseas calls. What a gimmick.

6. LOL, they certainly refrained from asking the REAL question...
Does allowing the government to intercept your phone calls make America safer?

If they had asked that question, the question that actually relates to what was legalized in the FISA bill that was passed, I suspect the % answering yes would have been relegated to the infamous 23%.
